Hey everyone just wanted to give a quick update after our 3rd Dr. appointment this week. Everything went very well this morning. They did a nonstress test again and monitored my bp. Hailey's bpm was any where from 165-173 which is a little on the high side. But she takes after her Momma, since I always like to be on the go and very active. Hailey has gone from a curled up bawl position to a straight up and down position her butt sticks out next to my belly button and is an amusing sight to see, just take the mental picture though because I am not sharing that one with ya'll :)
Dr. Collins said she was ready to set a date. She picked February 11, 2009. We have to be at the hospital at 7:30am. Since her heartrate is on the normal but elevated side she said there was a possibility of still having a c-section. The plan is though when we go in we will get the pitocin to start labor and we will try natural with epidural and if there are any issue's or Hailey is under stress we will do a c-section. Dr. Collins has been so great. She has monitored me and has really taken great care of me. On the 2nd note though we have to be back to the Dr. on Monday at 9:00am on an empty stomach just in case she pulls me to the hospital that day for the induction. But Wednesday is set in stone if all goes well. I have to stay on bed rest, not suppose to do anything but lay down, eat and pee. Fingers are crossed we stick to Wednesday but just in case be aware :) Also then on the 3rd note I might already being going into early labor and Dr. C let me know she is on call this weekend just in case anything happens.
Some of ya'll have asked for the hospital info so here you go:
Medical Center of Lewisville
500 West Main Street
Lewisville, TX 75057
972-420-1000
Well wish us luck and pray for no c-section, I would much prefer to have her normal without getting my stomach cut open :)
**Update**: On a GOOD note our short term disability just got approved and we will start getting a check on the 15th :) Yay and then on a weekly basis... who-hooo :) I can be calm now! Our bill will be paid!
